Abel Cárcamo Segovia was born in Santiago, Chile, in 1990. Like an alchemist of form, he builds a bridge between the past and the present, harmoniously fusing the heritage of Chilean craftsmanship with contemporary trends. His creativity stems from a constant search for the infinite possibilities of materials and forms, constantly pushing back the boundaries of his art. Like a time traveller, Abel often finds himself immersed in periods of transition. It is in these moments of uncertainty, where fragments of the old mingle with the new emerging state, that he finds his deepest motivation. Phases of transition can be tumultuous, but they also reveal an inner strength and the will to create the desired results.
