Laurence Bonnel leave and works in Paris.

She draws and takes art history lessons very soon. After her studies in Sorbonne University between 1993 and 1997, wich always turn around the artist’s figure, she discovers sculpture in 1998. Laurence works with different masters to learn the techniques : modelling, carving, soldering, foundry, patina…

Her first exhibition takes place in 2003 in NOSE gallery in Paris then in Bruxelles. After showing 3 sculptures in the Grand Palais in Paris in 2006, her sculptures are present in France, Geneva, Gstaad, Rome, Milan, Madrid, Barcelona, London and New York, Hong Kong, Singapore…

The artist questions the world showing lonely human interaction, her silhouettes evoque the waiting perspective and relationship.
2011 marks a turning point in her work : from the simple ligne, she leads by lignes’ and courbs multiplication to create motion in sculpture. A gesture takes shape.

In 2016 she opens a gallery to present very limited pieces of art furniture made by young or recognized artists and ceramists. Each piece illustrate her passion for extraordinary Savoir-Faire.
