Since 2015, KRJST Studio is composed of Justine de Moriamé and Erika Schillebeeckx. Four hands, two souls and four eyes work together to invoke a collective memory, modify it and pass it on.
KRJST use colours to express what words cannot describe; they paint by weaving.
They paint imaginary landscapes of a poetic realm, calm and yet tormented, the chaos where emotions are born.
By giving themselves time to create, krjst become intimately aware of time as both a place of change and a place of permanence, and as a place of reconciliation between traditional and ritual technique and experimental and modern technique.
